This page presents Déneigement Charbonneau's general practices. It does not replace personalized legal advice; when in doubt, contact us or consult a qualified advisor.
1. Acceptance of terms
By browsing this site, using the contact form, or communicating with Déneigement Charbonneau, you accept these terms of use and the privacy practices described on this page.
If you do not accept these terms, you should stop using the site. We may update site content, pages, or features without notice.
2. Services, quotes, and work
Déneigement Charbonneau presents residential, commercial, and manual snow-removal services as well as abrasive application in Cowansville. Information on the site is provided for information only and is not a guarantee, firm quote, or service contract.
A quote must be confirmed after reviewing the address, property type, access points to clear, and communicated needs. Operations may vary with precipitation, road conditions, municipal plows, and access constraints.
3. Acceptable site use
You agree to use this site lawfully, respectfully, and safely. It is forbidden to submit false information, attempt to interrupt the site, use abusive automated tools, or submit malicious content.
Information submitted for a quote must relate to a property for which you are authorized to request service.
4. Intellectual property
Text, images, logos, brand elements, layouts, and visual content on this site belong to Déneigement Charbonneau, its suppliers, or their respective owners unless otherwise stated.
Any reproduction, modification, redistribution, or commercial use without prior written authorization is prohibited.
5. Personal information collected
We may collect information you voluntarily send us through the quote form, including your first and last name, email, phone number, the property address in Cowansville, property type, the services requested, your message, and, if you choose to attach any, photos of the access points to clear.
We may also collect limited technical data, such as approximate IP address, device type, browser, and pages viewed, mainly to keep the site secure and functioning properly.
6. Data use and retention
Information collected is used to answer requests, prepare quotes, plan follow-up, understand the access points to clear, improve the site, and meet legal or administrative obligations.
If you become a client, your contact details and property address are also used to perform the contract: planning routes, logging each pass, handling invoicing, and sending you Snow Alerts by text before the second pass. You can ask to stop receiving texts at any time by writing to us.
We keep this information only for as long as reasonably necessary for these purposes, unless a longer period is required for accounting, contract management, dispute resolution, or rights protection.
7. Sharing with suppliers
We do not sell personal information. Some information may be shared with suppliers who help us host the site, receive forms, manage emails, coordinate requests, or maintain technical security.
Snow-removal operations are managed in the FolloSoft platform: client contact details and property addresses are recorded there to plan routes, track passes by GPS, trigger Snow Alerts, and administer the contract and payment. This provider processes that information on our behalf and only for those purposes.
When suppliers are involved, we aim to limit shared information to what is necessary and to work with partners that apply reasonable security measures.
8. Security, consent, and rights
We apply reasonable measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, or destruction.
Under applicable Quebec and Canadian laws, you may request access to your personal information, correction, withdrawal of consent where possible, or ask a question about its processing.
9. Cookies
This site is simple: it does not use optional advertising or behavioral tracking cookies. Only cookies required for functionality, security, or remembering a choice may be active.
Traffic statistics are measured by a self-hosted instance of the open-source software Umami, without cookies and without persistent identifiers: only anonymous page views are counted. There is no session recording, no heat mapping and no tracking from one site to another.
Our forms may use Cloudflare Turnstile in invisible mode to verify visitors silently and limit abuse. Cloudflare may process limited technical data in accordance with its Turnstile Privacy Addendum: https://www.cloudflare.com/en-gb/turnstile-privacy-policy/.
You can view cookie status from the Cookies link at the bottom of the site. You can also configure your browser to refuse or delete certain cookies.
10. External links
The site may contain links to external platforms such as email, phone, maps, social networks, or hosting providers.
We do not control the privacy practices, security, or content of those platforms. Their use is governed by their own terms.
11. Limitation of liability
We make reasonable efforts to keep site information accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that content will be free of errors, omissions, or interruptions.
To the extent permitted by law, Déneigement Charbonneau cannot be held liable for indirect damages arising from use of the site, inability to access it, or an interpretation of published information that was not confirmed.
12. Changes and contact
We may modify these terms to reflect changes to the site, our services, our suppliers, or legal requirements. The update date indicates the most recent version.
